What is DJ Intelligence?

Clearception DJ Intelligence transforms your DJ library and performance history into a personal AI-powered music search and recommendation engine. Discover forgotten tracks, match BPM and mood, explore harmonic transitions, create intelligent crates, and prepare performances across supported DJ platforms. It is a desktop app for macOS and Windows that indexes your library on your own computer: it reads Serato DJ Pro (library, crates and exported history, read-only), the collection XML you export from rekordbox, Traktor's collection.nml, VirtualDJ's database (experimental) and plain music folders, and it never writes to your DJ software's files — results go back as a playlist you import. Search and recommendations run offline; cloud AI is optional, on DJ Pro and DJ Studio, and only the sentence you type is sent.

Live Assistant

Pick the track that is playing and get next-track suggestions in fifteen modes — stay in key, raise energy, deep cuts, forgotten tracks, closing set and more. DJ software does not share live deck state with third-party apps, so you choose the track.

Smart crates

Rule-based crates that update as your library changes, exported as an M3U, rekordbox XML or Traktor NML playlist you import.

Session history

Import the history your DJ software exports to see what you played, when, and what has gone unplayed.

Cross-platform library

Questions

Is there a free plan?

No. DJ Intelligence has three paid plans — DJ Essential, DJ Pro and DJ Studio — on monthly or annual billing. There is an optional 7-day DJ Pro trial; a payment method is required, and the plan starts automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Is it included in my Create or Clearception One plan?

No. DJ Intelligence is a separate desktop product with its own subscription, sold separately even to Create subscribers.

Does it write to my Serato library?

No. Serato is read-only: Clearception never writes to Serato's database or crate files. Crates you build are exported as an M3U playlist that you drag into Serato yourself.

Is my library uploaded?

No. It is local-first: your library is indexed and searched on your own computer, and search works offline. If you turn on cloud AI (DJ Pro and DJ Studio), only the sentence you type is sent to interpret it.

Does it control my decks or run as a Serato plug-in?

No. There is no native plug-in and no live deck control. DJ software does not give third-party apps live deck state, so the Live Assistant works from the track you select.

Which computers does it run on?

It is a desktop app for macOS and Windows. Downloads open at launch.
