Cloud Architect IQ

Design it once. Price it on every cloud. Know what it will cost in five years.

Clearception Cloud Architect IQ turns written requirements into Azure, AWS and GCP architectures, prices every component from the providers' public price lists, and forecasts cost at 12, 36 and 60 months. On its own subscription.

What is Cloud Architect IQ?

Clearception Cloud Architect IQ takes requirements written in plain language and turns them into Azure, AWS and Google Cloud architectures on a visual design graph of around 46 component kinds. Every component is priced from the provider's own public price list — the Azure Retail Prices API, the AWS Price List bulk files and the Google Cloud Billing Catalog. When a meter cannot be matched it is shown as unresolved and the forecast is marked incomplete; a price is never guessed or borrowed from another region or SKU. Forecasts at 12, 36 and 60 months are reproducible from the stored price rows. Clouds are compared side by side with hard constraints applied before weighted scoring, and the cost optimizer's recommendations are priced by the same engine and can be applied to a scenario with a decision log. Designs are analysed for security and reliability with controls mapped to SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS and GDPR, and the product also covers capacity sizing, AI workload cost modelling, Terraform export and import, executive and FinOps PDF reports, read-only billing-export imports to measure forecast accuracy, and your negotiated contract rates. AI helps with requirements and design; every number comes from the deterministic pricing engine.

Problems it solves

  • Turn written requirements into an architecture on Azure, AWS and GCP
  • Price every component from the provider's public price list instead of a guess
  • See which meters could not be priced, rather than a total that hides them
  • Forecast cost at 12, 36 and 60 months and reproduce the number later
  • Compare clouds against hard constraints before weighing preferences
  • Check a forecast against the real bill using read-only billing exports

Key capabilities

Price-List Pricing
Price each component from the cloud provider's own public price list. A meter that cannot be matched is shown as unresolved, never guessed or borrowed from another region or SKU.
Reproducible Cost Forecasts
Forecast cost at 12, 36 and 60 months from stored price rows, so the same inputs always reproduce the same number.
Constraint-First Cloud Comparison
Compare clouds side by side with hard constraints applied before any weighted scoring, so an option that breaks a requirement cannot win on points.
Priced Cost Optimization
Recommend savings that are priced by the same engine as the design, and record each one applied in a decision log.
Security Control Mapping
Analyse a design for security and reliability and map its controls to SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS and GDPR.
Terraform Export & Import
Export a design as Terraform for the azurerm, aws and google providers, or import existing Terraform to price it.
Evidence Trail
Every figure carries the record it came from, so a reader can check the answer instead of trusting it.

How it is built

Requirements to architecture
Describe the workload in words; AI drafts a design on a visual graph of around 46 component kinds that you edit directly.
Priced from public price lists
Azure Retail Prices API, AWS Price List and Google Cloud Billing Catalog. An unmatched meter is shown as unresolved and the forecast is marked incomplete.
Five-year forecasts
12, 36 and 60-month forecasts, reproducible from the stored price rows they were computed from.
Side-by-side comparison
Hard constraints are applied first; only the options that pass are scored on your weights.
Cost optimizer
Recommendations priced by the same engine as the design, applied to a scenario with a decision log.
Security and reliability analysis
Findings with controls mapped to SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS and GDPR.
Terraform export and import
Export to the azurerm, aws and google providers, or import existing Terraform to price it.
Reports, billing imports and contract rates
Executive and FinOps PDF reports, read-only billing-export imports to measure forecast accuracy, and your negotiated rates. On Architect Pro and above.

How it works

How the work is structured, and what each step's output rests on.

  1. Capture requirements

    AI-inferred

Describe the workload, its constraints and its growth; AI helps structure the requirements.

  2. Draft the architecture

    Recommendation

AI proposes a design on the graph for each cloud; you review and edit it.

  3. Price every component

    Source

The pricing engine matches each component to the provider's public price list and flags any meter it cannot match.

  4. Forecast and compare

    Estimate

12, 36 and 60-month forecasts, compared side by side with hard constraints applied before scoring.

  5. Optimize and decide

    Recommendation

Priced recommendations are applied to a scenario, and each decision is logged.

  6. Export

    Observed

Terraform for the chosen cloud, and an executive or FinOps report.

Cloud Architect IQ

Requirements to a priced three-cloud comparison

Turn written requirements into Azure, AWS and GCP architectures, price each from the provider's public price list, and compare five-year cost with hard constraints applied first.

Cloud Architect IQ

Check a cloud forecast against the actual bill

Import a billing export read-only and measure how far the architecture's forecast was from what the cloud actually charged.

Ask Cloud Architect IQ

Illustrative examples. Results depend on your own data.

  • “Design a multi-region web application with a managed Postgres database and price it on Azure, AWS and GCP.”
  • “What will this architecture cost over five years with 20% growth a year?”
  • “Which cloud meets our data-residency constraint, and which is cheapest among those that do?”
  • “Which components could not be priced, and why?”

Security, governance and human control

Where the software deliberately limits itself.

Security

  • Six roles — owner, administrator, enterprise architect, FinOps analyst, security architect and executive viewer
  • Audit log of changes and decisions
  • Billing exports are imported read-only

Governance

  • Every number comes from the deterministic pricing engine, never from a model
  • Unpriced meters are disclosed, and the forecast is marked incomplete
  • Applied optimizations are recorded in a decision log

Questions

Is there a free plan?
No. Cloud Architect IQ has paid plans — Architect from $79/mo, Architect Pro from $149 per user/mo and Team from $599/mo for five seats — plus a quoted Enterprise plan. Architect and Architect Pro come with a 14-day free trial, and no card is required to start it.
Is it included in my Build or Clearception One plan?
No. Cloud Architect IQ is sold on its own subscription, separately from the Build plan. Build Pro subscribers get 20% off for as long as they hold Build Pro.
Where do the prices come from?
From each provider's own public price list: the Azure Retail Prices API, the AWS Price List bulk files and the Google Cloud Billing Catalog. A meter that cannot be matched is shown as unresolved and the forecast is marked incomplete — a price is never guessed or borrowed from another region or SKU. Architect Pro and above can add your negotiated contract rates.
Does the AI decide the numbers?
No. AI helps with requirements and design and is advisory. Every price, forecast and saving comes from the deterministic pricing engine.
Does it connect to our cloud accounts?
It reads public price lists, and on Architect Pro and above it imports billing exports read-only to measure forecast accuracy. It does not deploy or change anything in your cloud; Terraform is exported for you to apply.
Can I buy it today?
Not yet. The plans are priced, and checkout opens when the commercial release is approved.
