PlaylistIQ
Pitch the right playlists, and know what happened to every pitch.
Plan a release campaign, rank playlists by an explainable fit score, draft pitches for approval and record every submission and its outcome.
What is PlaylistIQ?
PlaylistIQ starts from a release — registered from a Clearception Create project or entered by hand — and the playlists you know about. Each playlist gets a suitability score from 0 to 100 that is a sum of named parts: genre and mood fit, reach, openness to submissions and cost, with facts you typed in counting for less than verified ones and saying so. Playlists showing signs of selling placements or guaranteed streams are flagged and blocked from a pitch draft until a person reviews them. The Playlist Agent budgets a campaign — stated fees plus a reserve, with unknown fees counted as unknown — and can draft a pitch per shortlisted playlist. Nothing is submitted by PlaylistIQ: Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, SubmitHub and Groover have no third-party API, so you pitch on their sites after approval and record the outcome here, which is what makes response and acceptance rates measured rather than guessed.
Problems it solves
- Shortlist playlists with a reason for each ranking
- Spot playlists that sell placements or promise streams before pitching them
- Budget a campaign without treating unknown fees as free
- Draft a pitch per playlist for review instead of writing each from scratch
- Measure response and acceptance rates over pitches actually sent
Key capabilities
- Explainable Fit Scores
- A score is a sum of named components with the facts behind each, so a ranking can be read — and disputed — one part at a time.
- Release Campaign Tracking
- Record every pitch in a release campaign with its status and outcome, so response and acceptance rates are measured on what was actually sent.
- Campaign Planning
- Plan, brief and sequence campaign work across channels from one place.
- Human Approval Gates
- Anything with an outside consequence — a pitch sent, a product published, a campaign sent, a booking committed — waits for a person with the named permission.
- Cost-Ceilinged AI Drafts
- Drafts and summaries go through the AI Model Matrix under a per-call cost ceiling. Figures are computed by code, never by a model.
How it is built
- Explainable suitability
- Every score lists its components and the facts behind them, so you can disagree with one part.
- Artificial-streaming signals
- Guaranteed streams, pay-for-placement and platform flags block a pitch draft until a person reviews the playlist.
- Campaign budget
- Stated submission fees plus a reserve; a playlist with no stated fee is shown as unknown, not free.
- Pitch drafts
- The Playlist Agent drafts one pitch per shortlisted playlist through the AI Model Matrix, for your edit and approval.
- Submission log
- Each pitch is marked sent only after approval, and its outcome is recorded against it.

Questions
- Does PlaylistIQ submit to Spotify or SubmitHub for me?
- No. Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, SubmitHub and Groover offer no API a third party may use, and automating their websites would break their terms. PlaylistIQ prepares the pitch; you submit it on their site and record the outcome.
- Does a high score mean a playlist will accept the track?
- No. The score describes fit from the facts you have; it does not predict acceptance or streams.
- Why is a playlist blocked?
- It carries a signal such as guaranteed streams or paying for placement, which platforms' terms prohibit. A person can review it; PlaylistIQ will not draft a pitch to it until they do.
